Dragon Boat

Dragon Boat is a social, recreational paddling program for adults. (Not sure what a dragon boat is? It's a team of 20 paddlers sitting two abreast, and a cox who steers the boat from the rear!).

Dragon boat program

The Adult Dragon Boat program is a fun, recreational program for both new and experienced paddlers 18+. The program offers a unique way to stay in shape, and a great social atmosphere to meet new people, all while enjoying the great outdoors on the beautiful Kearney Lake. Once a week in the summer, you'll go out with your dragon boat crew and a coach, and paddle up and down the lake doing drills and honing your skills. (There are also local dragon boat racing competitions, if there is enough group interest).
