development Program

Spring paddling sessions to improve your skills and technique prior to the start of the summer season.

spring paddling program (12 weeks)

Spring Paddling 2021 will be 12 weeks of on- and off- water training from April through June 2021. Spring paddling is the best way to prepare for the 2021 season by improving your skills, technique, and fitness with plenty of fun on and off the water! Practices will take place six times per week. Spring paddlers are encouraged to attend as many of the six sessions as they can but this program is designed for paddlers to pick the sessions each week which work for them.

program structure

Starting on April 1, 2021 with 1-2 intro weeks of dryland training, Spring paddlers will get on the water on nice days through April as the weather warms, and we expect to be on-water full time by May 1. A weekly training plan will be circulated prior to each week of Spring paddling but Spring paddlers should come prepared for both on-water and off-water sessions every day as plans are subject to change due to the weather.
